Silver Salom Fishing
Today is the opening day for the use of bait on the Little Susitna river. Their is just one word for the fishing Awesome. When i left the river at noon their were 310 silver salmon caught at that point in time. Kevin had a group of 4 this morning and he did very well, they caught their limit of silver salmon.

This morning I took my kids fishing and they caught their limit and I also caught my limit. The average weight of our silver salmon was 12 pounds. We landed nice bucks this morning and I will be fishing tomorrow and so will Kevin and i will let you know how we do.

Silver Salmon Fishing
Hello everyone, Kevin and I have been fishing the Little Susitna river for Silver salmon, Chum salmon, and Pink salmon. We have been having very good results for silver salmon. Some of the males have weighed over 13 pounds and some of the females over 11 pounds. Tomorrow is the start of bait day on the little susitna river and as stated before in recent years this is as close to a 100% result as you can get in fishing. I will let you know how we do and talk to you soon.

Silver Salmon Fishing
Good evening everyone, we have been fishing the Little Susitna river for Silver salmon, Chum salmon and Pink salmon. During our fishing trips Kevin and I have been limiting out with Silver salmon. Like I have mentioned before we have been catching silver salmon ranging between 10 to 12 pounds. The silvers are larger this year and they want to bite making for a great fight and also great table fare. We have some openings for the upcoming week so give us a call and catch your silver salmon.

Silver Salmon Fishing
Today I fished the Little Susitna river with 3 clients this morning. We had an excellent fishing trip catching all of our silver salmon. The rain was coming down hard but the fish wanted to bite and we had 6 very nice silver salmon.

Kevin fished with 2 clients whom wanted to fly fish for silver salmon. They had a great trip catching all 5 species of pacific salmon. The river was coming up a little due to the rain but was still pretty clean. We will be fishing tomorrow and I will let you know how we do.

Silver salmon fishing
Hello everyone, sorry for missing a few days on the fishing report. The fishing has been very good for Silver salmon, Chum salmon and the Pink salmon are starting to show up in the river. Kevin and I have had trips with clients each day and we have been limiting out except for one morning trip I had. We fished hard that day but just could not get the fish to bite. The salmon were rolling all around us but they did not want to bite anything we threw at them. However we had a great time with old friends and the trip was a success anyhow.

The wildlife has been every where and this is an added bonus to the salmon fishing. We have trips all week and we will keep you posted on the salmon fishing.

Silver salmon fishing
Hello everyone, we did not fish today but we fished yesterday and the day before. We had some good trips but yesterday's trip was tough. The river was busy and the water is low. We are catching silver salmon and chum salmon. The sockeye salmon are also showing up and we wil;l be catching them also on the Little Susitna. I will be fishing tomorrow and Kevin will also be running a fishing charter also. I will let you know how we do.

Silver Salmon fishing
Hello everyone, we have had some King salmon fishing trips on the Deshka river. Our clients did pretty good on some trips and not so good on other trips. The water in the Deshka river is to warm for productive fishing trips.

Yesterday I had some clients out on the Little Su and we did pretty good fishing for Chum, Silver ans Red salmon. The water is low and the tide yesterday was large and it really pushed upstream quite a distance. With this tide I hope it pushed some more fish into the river. The silver salmon we caught was around the 10 pound range and we tried to catch some chums also but they did not want to bite. I have a trip in the morning and I will let you know how we do.

The past three trips
The fishing has been slow but we are still putting fish in the boat. We had two 24lbs kings on Tuesday and a 30lb fish on Wednesday. The weekend had a couple of kings each day, but they were in the high teens. More jacks are still being caught, but the kings are getting spookier due to the water conditions. IT IS LOW and clear. We may be moving the rest of the trips to the Deshka, but the first trip will not be until Sunday. Let you know what happens.

Yesterday and Today
The fishing has been slow, but we have been putting fish in the boat everyday. The water is still low and the weather is still cool and a bit rainy. The fish have been in the 20lb range, with a few bigger fish being caught today. Boat traffic has been quiet and that has made the water less muddy, but the fish are a bit spookier because of the clear water. Going again tomorrow and the fishig should be decent.

Monday's trip
The weather was great and the fishing was too for a little while. Once the sun came out the fishing started to slow down. We had 5 good strikes and landed two nice kings, one about 17 and the other one was 19 lbs. Both really bright hens. The river was not very busy, but the it is low. Hopefully the rain we are getting will put some zip into the fish. Let you know how we do tomorrow.
